Extrapolate this information using any Mathematics formula, it is clear that all the Census from late 50s are just mere allocation of numbers.

In1921 Igbo are 3,927,000 and h/f are 2,000,000, now it's 2017 that's 96yrs back Igbo population is high than that of Hausa/ Fulani with 1,927,000. After 96yrs you are disputing Hausa/Fulani aren't populous than Igbo. I don't know which school you attended.
Hausa that can marry 4 wives, Hausa that can marry at early age, going by your submission Hausa/Fulani population is triple to Igbo population 2017.
