hi fellow nairalanders,i urgently need advise on what to do,i cant access my BIOS SET UP of

my system,Even after pressing f2 and delete.what can i do? pls help .

Check your keyboard. That where the likely problem is from.

Besides, what type of keyboard do u use? USB or PS2. If its a USB then it might not work in DOS environment. Try connecting your system to a with a PS2 keyboard.

Hi , 1st what kind of system are u talking about here i.e what make? and if sit's a clone dou know d type of board on it .
As a general tip try tap DEL if it does not work try F8

Press the "Delete" key on the keyboard while the system restarts. there is no way it won't take you to BIOS set up. Try it and give me a feed back.

Mybe it be from your keyboard!!?
but you should provide more info!
if you get the boot proccess function correctly (hear small beep)
so you should try other keys like
shift+tab for logo
F12 for lan boot
F8 for boot priority
,
if none of them does nothing try reset mainboard. it is not hard task :
you can find 3pin jumper inside your case on MB that titled "clear bios / normal"
or somthing alike just place jumper on other pin and take it BACK to previous state
and turn on pc or take mainboard battery for about 30 minutes and take it bake
if you change setup functions incorrectly this will solve problems and take mainboard to
manufactory state
