More than one month after issuing a quit notice to Nigerians of Igbo extraction to leave the North before the October 1, 2017, Arewa youths, have again, called on the United Nations (UN) to pronounce Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as a terrorist organisation.

Addressing newsmen in Abuja, on Thursday, the Arewa youths, who converged under the aegis of Coalition of Northern Groups, also called on the UN to intervene, by initiating processes for a peaceful referendum, saying that it was the only option to finally settle the Biafran issue.

In a letter addressed to the UN and dated 12th of July, 2017, the groups said since the end of the Nigerian Civil War, Igbo have intermittently continued to taunt and rebel against other parts of the country, by demanding to secede and form an independent country.

Honestly speaking, we can't continue with this back and forth, let there be referendum and any component that wants to go, let them go.

Why should some people be taking the country for granted for God's sake?

Very sick and tired of all these nonsense, but hopefully, not that when the referendum is being conducted some chest beating fools will start coming up with some unresolvable issues like the possibility of being in a different country and still be free to remain in Nigeria the way they used to be because that is where the actual problem will start.

Happy the arewa youths have their ears on the ground listening to every chest beating nonsense.

When Biafra comes, no business in any form will happen between this two nations in any form. When they need oil, they will go to Saudi Arabia and buy. When we need farm products we will cultivate. I'm happy for the boundary of Biafraland because Kogi, Benue, Nasrawa, Ogun will serve as shock absorber against the Funani and Boko Haram.
