This incident happened in a settlement called Dakwo here in Abuja.

A pastor and his son was said to have allegedly raped a 16yr old girl who is an orphan under the said pastor's custody continuously. The girl got pregnant twice and was taken by the pastor for abortions until she reported to someone in the community and the pastor was summoned. Residents which got wind of this gathered at the Palace of the traditional ruler where he was summoned to mete justice on him.

The police was invited with NAPTIP and in their bid to scare the crowd that had assembled to lynch the pastor by firing tear gas and it landed on the back-shield of this vehicle shattering it totally.

The smoke emitted from the tear gas canister was mistaken to be fire and prompted bystanders to attempt dousing the "flames" with water but the strong fumes from the gas made them realise that they were up against something else. The picture was taken after the dust settled when i came back from work as i was not around during the incident.
