There are plenty of baby mamas in Nigeria. Nigerians just pretend it doesn't exist and give the child to their mums to raise. There is also a very high rate of abortion among Nigerian women, due to the lack of using birth control. Also if you think about it, a man who has 2 or 3 wives is not different than a man with a wife and 2 baby mamas. As of now there are men in Nigeria who are specifically rejecting the married life due to lack of resources, and being content with a woman having his child. This happens in almost all countries that industrialize. Women don't put up with beatings, side chicks, child molestation and other things once they have the means to provide for themselves. Less people marry and more people divorce, once the women of a society become financially buoyant.
