The National Common Entrance Examination [NCEE] Board has published the Entrance Exam Cut-Off Mark of Each State for the 2017/18 session.
The apaperent lopsidedness in the allocation of cut-off marks to the states in Nigeria, has fueled agitations over the inequality and injustice associated with Entrance Exam Cut-off marks in Nigeria.
It is therefore, bewildering to see majority of the students especially from the South who scored much higher than their counterparts from the North denied admissions into Higher institutions while those from the North with much lower marks gain admission.
This has been one of the banes of Nigeria's faulty educational system, as it permeates or levels of academic instutions in Nigeria.
