Making History Naija, in conjunction with the University of Ilorin Students Union, is bringing a Guinness World Record official attempt to the Emirates City, the city of Ilorin. The Guinness World Record to be broken is the most people opening can drinks simultaneously at the same venue. The current record, for opening can drinks simultaneously at a single venue is being held by Career Consulting Co. Ltd. and was achieved by 1,149 people at Urayasu, Japan on the 24th of January 2016. We are going to break this record this time with over 3000 people, mostly students from the Better By Far University. The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 5th of July, 2017 at the University of Ilorin Sports Centre. |
