Governor Akinwumi ambode need to comes to the aids of Labora palms bay estate Community to avert disaster that might happen if another heavy rain fall.
This is the current situation at Labora Palms bay estate Behind Abijon GRA ibeju lekki Local Government, Lagos State.
The community have been leaving in fear after the last heavy rain that almost consume the hole community due to lack of canal and some people allegedly build on water channel.
The community leaders had reported to the ministry of environment and physical planning but nothing is done for them.
We are calling on Governor Akinwumi Ambode to please rescue this community before its submerge.
The Labora palms bay estate road is a major road that connect with monastery road toward shoprite sangotedo if the government can help and build the road and canal to channel the water appropriately.

During the last heavy rain fall, the community witness a terrify situation, where some wide animal attacking some resident in there house as a result of flood bringing those animals to the community.
despite the rainfall as reduced, the water within the Labora and Palms bay estate community still remain on high level, due to lack of proper water channel.
Vehicular movement was impossible to the extent of the resident resulting to use of canoe as a means of transportation within the community.
Water from all the newly sand-feel area are coming to this community, places like Ogonbo and some other pat within Etiosa and ibeju lekki local government.

The road leading to Labora community from lekki epe express way have been abandon by the government for years and its not motorable at all, The resident of labora have to pass through Abijon GRA road to enter there community which is like 5kilometer drive different from there original road on the master plan of Lagos state.
A proper well plan canal by the government will safe the situation in Labora community and its environs to avert feature calamity.

Governor Ambode should come to the aids of this community as a matter of urgency.
