Lagos Flood: Two Die In Building Collapse After Rainfall by ayolatv: 8:12am On Jul 24, 2017
A building collapsed yesterday following heavy rainfall in Lagos.

Two people lost their lives after a building collapsed in Meiran area of Agbado-Oke-Odo Local Government Area, following heavy rainfall in Lagos, yesterday.

The uncompleted building, housing some residents, it was learnt caved in, midway during the heavy downpour. It was gathered that those who survived were seriously wounded.

The sad incident happened around 11:48am at No 7 Saidu Okeliji Street, Alaro Street Meiran. The state’s Emergency Response said it got a call which it responded to promptly, resulting in the rescue of a five-year old girl, Moyin, who was immediately moved to the General Hospital, Ikeja by the Lagos State Ambulance Service.

The spate of building collapse in this country is sad.
When a man, on 50k per month salary with 4 kids and wife to cater for HAS to build a house.
