About the Role:

The Motion Systems team is primarily responsible for developing and delivering features such as, electronically controlled suspension, and configurable chassis and steering features.

The work covers all aspects of the design from requirements to implementation. The role will involve working on current and future chassis control systems. As the lead project engineer they will be responsible for the detailed engineering project management of the development of new technology from functional design in the early stages of the feature definition all the way through to production.

These activities provide a consistent systems engineering approach to support the user/customer requirements specification in form of documents and models. By using model-based systems engineering techniques, the team contributes to the overall understanding of the expected feature functionality.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
Good understanding of vehicle chassis and suspension systems.
Relevant experience or knowledge of Systems Engineering environment.
Project and Requirements Management

Experience Required:
Degree or equivalent experience required.
Able to work under pressure and engage and motivate wider team.
Relevant knowledge and experience of technical project / programme and stakeholder management for complex systems will be required.
Able to clearly communicate with a diverse team and to present project status to a wide audience.

Experience Preferred:
Good understanding of vehicle dynamics APM or PRINCE2 Qualification.
Involvement in projects from concept to production.
Experience in SysML / IBM Rational Rhapsody / DOORS Configuration management & version control for documentation.
