I've been out of paid employment since November 2016. So I bought a room on Nairaland Job section and I started living here lol. Submitted countless CV's and went for few interviews with no luck but at last God has picked my call, well after I changed my tactics.

WHAT I DID

1. I prayed Alot

I participated In the hallelujah challenge and my only prayer point was God please give me a good job.
Lesson : Be optimistic, have faith in whatever you believe in but permit me to say God sure pass lol.

2. I made the search button my friend

Like I said I started living here and other job sites, so everynight/morning, I type my town's name (Ilorin) in the search box and it brings up whatever people are discussing about it and I go from section to section starting from job/vacancies to career to business etc. At the end of the day there's always one or two vacancies or people to reach out to.

3. I Was Proactive

Back to how I got this job, so last week I was doing my ritual of searching for vacancies when I came across one but there was a but. They were looking for masters degree holders with two years experience in an entirely different field from mine, but when I checked them out it was the kind of coy I would love to work with(ICT), so I sent them a mail accompanied by my CV stating my qualifications and experience. The second day I was called for an interview and bam I was given the job.

My appreciation goes to :

1) GOD- For guidance, wisdom and grace even when I mess up, he has remained faithful.

2) My darling husband (my Nkem) .Igbo people she I get am? lol. For being ever supportive, for the encouragements, for the many times u tweaked my CV, for not making me feel like a liability at any point. Love and respect to you sir.

3) To Seun and everyone who makes meaningful contribution on this forum , I have learnt a lot from you guys.Thank you.

Prayers for those looking for a Job

Keep praying and doing your best .Soon and very soon. God will pick your calls.

Do you have the need or know someone that requires personal home medical care, kindly get in touch with 4 Sides on 08067502337 and 08171077081... We offer a range of services which includes; 24 hours nursing care for the elderly, people with disabilities or people that want to be admitted in their homes (where they won't pay any admission fee) instead of paying admission fees in hospitals (which are usually very expensive, which could be an average of 50,000 per night in a private hospital), provide specialists/consultants in different fields of practice (gynecologist, Cardiologist, Nephrologist, Orthopedic surgeon, etc) if required or requested, at the comfort of your home.

4 Sides also provides laser hair rejuvenation service for people (males and females) who are experiencing hair loss to make the hair grow back at an affordable price. Kindly reach us on the phone numbers above for more information.
