Most times, a lot of people usually blame the mother of the baby whenever a baby is seen abandoned (in a gutter or waste bin) or thrown away. They feel the mother of the baby should have aborted the pregnancy rather than deliver the baby only to abandon it later...which to many is a cruel thing to do... But why put the whole blame on the mother of the baby? What about the guy/man responsible for her pregnancy? Who probably refuses to accept/take responsibility for the pregnancy, thereby putting the girl in a very tight situation. Most girls who abandon their baby, do so when they cant find help or support (especially from the father of the child) from anywhere. And abandoning the baby some where, becomes their only alternative. If many of them are able to get support or help, I don't think any of them would want to throw away their baby after carrying the child for 9 months in their womb, with all the stress involved. Guys who pregnate girls out of wedlock, should start acting a man...

Most times the blame is right on the mother, cause in most cases if you search the father you'll see that its one irresponsible young somewhere who it's ready for such responsibility. Why then did the girl open her legs for such guy, as I believe majority had consensual sex with their baby daddy. |

What is this one saying?? The fact still remains it's the choice of the mother to let the child live or not, this isn't the guy's call...even in the case of abortion it's still her call even if the guy says he isn't ready cos no guy can drag a lady to the hospital, and force her and the doctor to terminate a baby. That's why ladies like to say "I aborted for him", like it's a can a beer u helped him picked from the fridge. The irresponsible guy would have refused the pregnancy from the start...so a woman that decided to leave the pregnancy but later decided to throw it away at birth completely acted on her own heartless call. You don't go and Rob the bank and blame your employer that sacked you. I stand to be corrected though cos some pple na devil: I strongly beliv that there's no guy that will throw away a new born child.. 2 Likes |

The man is a devil for abandoning his child and not taking responsibility. However, the woman is the devil's boss for attempting to murder or even murder her child. If you want to abandon your baby, please drop the child in an orphanage, in front of the police station or church. That's the very least you can do to give the child a chance at survival. If you can't abort when the pregnancy can't survive if born, then you're even more hypocritical and wicked to give birth and then dump in the gutter or latrine to cover up your sins. |
