from my experience i will show you how i placed my adsense ads on my money blog and increased viewablity and click through rate.

to increase your click through rate your main focus should be on maximizing your ad viewability as it is only when it is well displayed that it will grab user attention to click it. so below is how i did mine and it worked fine.

i used
320 x 100 Large Mobile Banner above contents.
placing ads above contents helps me increase viewability and click through rate.

i used 300 x 600 Large Skyscraper in my blog sidebar.
300x 600 large skycrapper is one of my best performing ad i used it on sidebar.

i also used 336 x 280 Large Rectangle ads on my sidebar too .
placing 336 x 280 large rectangle below 300x 600 large skycrapper on sidebar is also good too, .

and lastly i used link ads in the body of my posts and 336 x 280 Large Rectangle ads too.
