Before you shout 'Police and lack of maintainance culture" note the following;

a. This is not a standard police car by any standard,

b. This car by virtue of the fact that it ain't a standard police car is prone to this kind of "accident" sooner rather than later.

c. That people "motorists, road users" make police high speed chase to usually end up like this.

d. Our police departments do not hire professional drivers. They hand keys to anyone who can drive within the force.

Note: ain't no popo

If u like buy 1000 patrol cars if u dont address d root cause of crime which is lack of jobs and improved welfare then u re window dressing d problem. If most of d money used to purchase patrol cars were used to create jobs and empower as much as possible then crime wud naturally be lowered

Why can we have a standard for police vehicles which will ensure ruggedness and durability? Buying cars which can barely be used as private cars with limited safety ratings all to satisfy some contractor is not the best...

lack of maintenance culture, if it were the driver's own personal car, an sure he won't allow the car to be damaged like that, I just hope the cars and bikes will be used effectively and to stop all criminal activities in Imo state.

Isn't it only normal...
Many of those retarded police drivers never handle tokunbo vehicles before talk more of brand new vehicles.
They'll be prepared to drive themselves to hell and kill as many people as possible in the process.

The Imo State Police Command on Monday 31st July, 2017 inaugurated Special Police Squad for Owerri Metropolis to deal with crimes and criminality within the state capital.

Imo State CP, Chris Ezike,

You are a graduate of University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Please don't join the Clowns Club in Imo state; clowns in position of power who believe that a state begins and ends with the state capital.

If Owerri alone is policed with all the 50 Police cars of Gov. Okorocha, while rest of Imo state are ignored - Okoroocha government style - before long, rest of Imo state outside Owerri shall become havens for criminals who shall be taking off from there into Owerri.
Distribute the Police vehicles to other lgas of Imo state, because the cars were bought with the federal allocations from the 27 lgas of Imo state.

Okorocha is doing Imo of one city for two reasons: (1) to save enough money to .....
(2) show off in Owerri so that the gullible ones shall recommend him to become future president of Nigeria.
