You will fill the DS 260 Form once NVC has contacted u for further processing. When u get to that bridge, u will know what to do , cos you are adequately informed, on the step by step procedures at the NVC processing stage, once you are sent the welcome letter.

Nope. I have kids. Not married yet. Your kids can be added to your case. They are called derivatives. You either have an option to go with them as your derivatives, or they can follow to join you later if you wish.

It should be on the National Population Commission A4 sized paper rather than the smaller version we get from the hospital.

If it is the NPC version then you are fine. Given you got it from the local government I think you have the right one.

Hey that is a very broad question, at what stage are you in the process i.e. NVC stage or Embassy stage?

When it is time for you to fill the DS260, you will be notified by the NVC via email including a link so if you have not gotten notification to fill out the DS 260 then you can't fill it out yet.

I will advice you read up on the end to end process using the links below so you are aware of what to expect at each stage.

If they are under F4 that means their siblings filed for them. They don't have a problem. Even if they get married to the mother/father of their kids, it is still the same time frame, think its about 13-14yrs wait. For F4 category. That's the longest wait time

Then as regards to the stay and work part as an immigrant in your statement. You cannot use a a B1/B2 visiting/tourism visa to live and work in America. Your sister has to file an I-130 immigrant visa form for you, and she has to be a citizen to do that. Then u will be on the queue to wait for it to be current . waiting time takes long though. U have to be patient.

Yes they do. Some years, one is usually faster than the other by a couple of months. But its usually the same time frame.

Let your sister google USCIS and fill the form based on the type of immigrant petition for siblings.

You should be aware that it takes about 13 years plus for such petitions to be available for immigrant visa.

Tell your sis to visit the website www.uscis.gov or she should go to homeland securities nearest to her. She will get all the information she needs about filing for you. Best of luck.

And as beautyaddy said. It takes 13years plus. But even if u get married, your wife and kids will go with you once you become current.

Wow its out. Just 2 weeks. Wish its moved more than that though. This makes my friend current, cos his is in January. But na lawyer them carry their case give. Be like the lawyer dey slow things down. Cos the guy don tire for the matter. Still wondering why his mom didn't handle the filing herself.

That's the issue. We got our welcome letter the same day. Although our priority date is 6months apart. I finished sending all my doca before him. His lawyer sent his around August. I just hope he would not require additional docs though, cos he has not gotten C.C yet.
