Before I became a YouTuber, I read a lot about it and it looked so lucrative, they said, for every 1000 views, I get $1 to $5, but when I started the business, it wasn't looking lucrative at all, there are sometimes I get over 30,000 to 40,000 views on each video and I get less than a dollar.
my problem now is that, is it because I'm a Nigerian, cox when Americans give testimonies about theirs, I envy them a lot. pls I need answers

i noticed dis too, with about 30,000 views i get $1.58cent dis is so frustrating. i stop making videos since last year sha!!!

Do keyword research!

It depends on your video niche. Some niche pay higher than others.

The next one is your audience location. Where your audience view your vidoes from matters too if you must make money on youtube.

I hv made $50 with abt 70k total views. My channel is new and still growing. I hv less than 400 subscribers right now.
