It is ashame that right before our eyes Nigeria has divided to an extent that we don't trust each other anymore. Everyone is concerned only about tribe, ethnicity and religion, not even about the state of the country.

There was a time we were all Nigerians, never yoruba, Hausa or Igbo. But all that is in the past now.

WHAT HAPPENED TO US

There was a time we had Nollywood as a body of film makers and actors in Nigeria, producing films that everyone loved and watched.
Now we're so divided that Nollywood is now divided into Kallywood for the Hausa audience, Yollywood for the yorubas and another for Igbos. Why can't Nollywood be one and still produce movies to serve these diverse audience? What happened to the calabar man, Bini Man, Ijaw or Idoma people should they go ahead to create different "Woods" to soothe their audience.

India has over 1billion people yet there is just one Bollywood.
America has over 250million people With a movie industry in existence for decades yet only one Hollywood.

WHAT HAPPENED TO US

There was a time we had "The Nigerian Governor's forum " as a single body of governor's in Nigeria under one leadership and agenda. Lucky igbinedion of edo state, bukola sarki, chibuike amaechi all chaired this body. But that was not enough for Nigeria, today we have northern governor's forum, southwest governor's forum, southeast governor's forum, Southsouth governor's forum. No, we didn't stop there. We have apc governor's forum and pdp governor's forum.

WHAT IS HAPPENING TO US

The disunity in this country at the moment is epic and mind blowing for those who want to see it.

The earlier we all stopped running away from the truth the better for all of us.
Turning a blind eye to the ill hunting this country because we're not directly affected as at now won't save Nigeria from the fate that awaits it

I thought I'm the only one thinking about this.

Nigeria has never been this divisive!

No thanks to the present administration with their hate speeches!

I'm glad you have noticed this. As it's now the only thing that can keep this country united is RESTRUCTURING, anything short of that is a waste of time.

The centre can no longer hold again. We better tell ourselves the stark truth. The soul of Nigeria has broken spirutually and only waiting for the physical break.
Unfortunately, those who can do something to salvage the country are busy singing the outdated song of " the unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable"

The irony of it is that those who are positioned and have the capacity and capability to change things are docile and acting as if everything is fine and nothing spoil.

The bolded above isn't helping matters. It's just ridiculous and insensitive.

Lol e don dey clear for eye abi??

No one Loves Nigeria so it will naturally die painfully by dismemberment. Have you ever heard any Nigerian/politician talk about national interest first?? No. What you hear when you bring up a good suggestion to move the country forward is: its not in the interest of the North. It will not favor the east, will not favor the west or south south.

Make the thing scatter joor.

Gradual descent into state failure and anarchy. Na small small. Make the "One Nigerianists" continue.

They speak like God. And God has a way of putting to shame those who boast in their acquired mundane power.
The USSR, Yugoslavia and Apartheid South Africa are modern cases in point.
In the Bible we had Pharaoh, Goliath, Sennacherub, Nebukadnezza, Haman, etc.
