What we fail to understand is that the government will never help us. I have a vision to bring basketball to our universities. we already have a fan base which are the students of the various institutions what we need are nidergians whoare ready to invest. Once we sports as a platform to be recognize and make money.,then you will see the difference . DO NOT WAIT FOR THE GOVERNMENT COMMON ALMS THERE STILL STEAL FORM THE PEOPLE

The athletics in london has no single Nigerian participation.

Lol even Benin republic defeated Nigeria yesterday. Not only should he be sacked but jailed for making careless statement about Nigeria sport in public.

No proper funding for Nigeria athletes at London sport event leaving them frustrated to return asap to the country.

The legacy he left for the state which later metamorphosed into Edo and Delta state remains unequalled in the country as the two states have continued to churn out sports talents who make impact nationally and globally

We support this country not only with oil but also in sports, entertainment, business Etc.

Without us, Nigeria is finished.

God continue to bless edo, delta and the entire nigerdeltan states(rivers, cross River, akwa ibom, bayelsa) .

Respect to you guys

Fish rotten from the head they say.

Don't expect Dalung to perform when Buhari has been a colossal failure.

The sports Sector is just a reflection of your country Nigeria.Everything is moving in the negative direction,do not expect sports to move in isolation.

Stop moaning, fix things! Few problems are insomountable and certainly not sports, and, as third world nations go, Nigeria is one of the better ones. And please, those of you that believe wealthy individuals as well as government can help to make things work better in Nigeria, don't let yourselves be bullied into silence, you're right.

Sports as well as most things in Nigeria aren't as good as they could be because of not only the central government but inadequacies of your state governors. And as long as you people continue to attack each other along ethnic lines, your state gorvernors get away with not trying hard enough. Besides government, there is much that ordinary people can do.

Those of you that hate Nigeria, leave and don't return. People have crossed the Atlantic ocean in raft, you can cross Nigeria and slip through the borders, burn your passport, wrapper and slippers once over.
