The social media giant Facebook is planning to introduce a video platform that will be like youtube. The launch of the platform will be given WATCH tab that will be displayed on the home feeds of the facebook account. The video platform will have some nice tv features ranging from Live Sport, movie and so on.

Some of the shows will be paid for by the social network, The founder of facebook Mark Zuckerberg post on its site that “Watching a show doesn’t have to be passive.

“It can be a chance to share an experience and bring people together who care about the same things.

“That’s why we’re launching the Watch tab in Facebook – a place where you can discover shows your friends are watching and follow your favourite shows and creators so you don’t miss any episodes. He said”

Mark also said that some of the content would be made by professional creators of regular people.

The WATCH platform will be limited to a group of people in the US, after which it will be made available to a good number of people in the United States.

WATCH is supported on Mobile Phones, desktops, and TV app or any device that can be connected to the internet.
