These navy officers are just wishing. Next they will be wishing for an intercontinental balistitc misile and a nuclear weapon.
People don't have garri and bread but they want to buy submarine.
They cannot even maintain the chairs, tables, light bulbs and facility in their baracks but they believe they can maintain a submarine.

Its not the submarine. It is the people who will man the submarine
Whats the use of a submarine when you have corrupt, indisciplined and unprofessional soldiers

What!
.
Will that Submarine kill all the Bokoharam terrorist in the North?
Haba, if dat amount is invested in the military to get them advanced arms and ammunitions, the soldiers won't fear facing the terrorist, but with those old school weapons they are using, I doubt their victory.
.
.
And here u are, requesting for that huge amount for submarine, abeg PACK WELL.

Navy bros, navy, NAVY!!! Na wah 2 some people

This country is so rich that none of her citizens can afford to be poor. If you are poor, it's your fault. May God open your eyes of understanding.
Re: Nigerian Navy Requests $300 Million To Buy A Submarine. by Nobody: 2:22pm On Aug 17, 2017
With the obscene comments being made it is easy why our politicians get away with decimating the military. The stupidity of Nigerians is like an abyss..it's endless. There are those who deride the military for the erosion of capabilities that allowed BH kill 30,000 with impunity , not to mention loss of investment due to insecurity. %90 of Nigeria's economic lifeline is in offshore terminals. A French Navy Frigate can in one go bring Nigeria to its kneel by denying uses access or destroying our offshore infrastructure. The Navy is finally thinking ahead strategically and idiots are out in full force condemning the Navy for daring to plan strategically for once. YOU GUYS ARE HOPELESS.

So all the Engineering and Technological graduates in the military can't come up with a submarine even if it is a midget submarine.

Nigerian military is a useless military.

@ Blue3k

I agree Nigeria should invest in its own weapons development capacity. only two African countries have submarine anyway. It's funny the useless military still keeps your people in bondage.

We don't have Modern weapons for our soldiers
We don't have modern aircraft for our air force.
We don't have modern warships for our navy.

If we encounter any modern warfare we are doomed.
