I will suggest you put them in person history if they are not in any of the NOC A,B & 0.

donrabii:
Please for OINP, do I provide reference letters for the job I'm claiming points for in my EE profile, or for all jobs I've done in the last ten years .

I'm. confused because some of them are not in NOC A, B or 0?

@ sleekchic

Only jobs in NOC categories 0, A and B that are valid for Express entry.

As a result, you are only left with your one year NYSC and three years self employment experience. If you have the appropriate documents for the latter, you are better off making use of this in order to attain maximum points from foreign skilled work experience.

Cheers

Thank you so much, but I am not the principal applicant, and we are entering for FSW, would I be required to prove my self-employed period? Or should I just leave it out and claim only NYSC.

And just to be clear, I will include all my experiences in personal history, but I will only get reference letter for NYSC right?

Hello Everybody,

Congrats to everybody who got their intended scores in IELTS, also those who got their PPR.. and to the hopefuls, may God's favor and mercy be upon us .

Soo I just started reading this thread.. I wanted to ask if its possible to apply for study permit and express entry at the same time. I was reading up on "dual intent", so I guess its possible sha, here is the link for those who want more information:
www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/ temp/visa/dual.asp

Then I checked my crs score, i had a 404. I calculated it with an ielts result of 8777(lsrw) as I have not written IELTS exams yet and Bachelor's Degree (3 or more year program at a university, college e.t.c) as I have not evaluated my certificate.

MY PROFILE
23yrs
BEng Computer Engineering, Bells University (i hope that fact that i had 2:2 won't affect anything sha)
Exactly 2 years working experience in Network Security Engineering (NOC 2281 or NOC 2147. At this point, I'm not even sure which one).
Funds will be available in January 2018

Although I have applied for study visa and refused based on insufficient funds (lump sum). I plan to reapply in febuary 2018. I guess i just want to find out if its smart to do both at the same time.. or what do you guys think is better

Please forgive me if my essay is too long and confusing because me sef i'm also confused.

P.S
I tried to use WES free equivalency tool to evaluate.. i didn't find my school there so weird.. i hope if i eventually send my documents, it will be reviewed.
and i also have a CCNA R&S, can it be evaluated? because i see people evaluating their ICAN

Help me oo!! God bless.

Good afternoon house, I would appreciate an enlightenment on my situation. For years I have been trying to do this but I always thought it was a cumbersome process until I stumbled upon nairaland.

Right now age isn't on our side. I am 34 will be 35 in Feb. My husband is 39 going 40 next October. I am thinking of being the PA because of age. I have an OND Sec.admin and BSC. Banking and finance, my husband has OND, HND and ICAN he is currently working but I have stopped working about 5years ago, I was a banker and worked for over 10 years since I completed my OND. I currently run a procurement and supply company which has been in existence since 2014.

Being a principal applicant what NOC would I claim and the possibility of going through the EE or PNP program in terms of CRS point.

Also do we do our ECA separately or there's a way to confirm both using only one application to WES. Can I also collect a reference letter from an old employer.

Thank you all.

Kindly find below the answers to your questions:

1. With your profile, your projected CRS score will be 439.

2. You must choose the NOC occupation that best describes your duties/responsibilities.

3. You and your spouse cannot use the same ECA.

4. Yes, you can collect a reference letter from an old employer

5. Read page 0 to know more about the whole process.

Note: Your projected CRS score is based on the following assumptions:

* You will evaluate both the BSc and National Diploma certificates to get points for "two or more certificates".

* Your spouse will evaluate his ND+HND certificates to get points for "two or more certificates".

* You and your spouse will aim to score a minimum of 8777 (LRSW) in the IELTS test.

Also note that 5 points will be deducted from your points in February (your birthday).

Yes, under sections R10 and A11.2 you will be required to show proof of your employment history (not personal history) as declared in the express entry profile. However, since you are not the PA, your employment doesn't earn you much point to be honest (if it's not work in Canada, then it earns you 0 point). In that regard, if I were you I'd focus more on strengthening the PA's application via ECA and IELTS which earn you way more points than employment.

If you check the link you posted carefully, you'll find this:

Temporary residence status might be refused for several reasons, including:

-history of having contravened the conditions of admission on a previous stay in Canada;
-lack of or insufficient proof of adequate funds to support oneself while in Canada, and to affect one’s departure from Canada;
-medical inadmissibility;
-not satisfying the visa officer that the individual will leave Canada at the end of their period of authorized stay.

Now, if I were a visa officer and I see your permanent resident application, I'd conclude that you do not intend to leave Canada at the end of the period of authorized stay. Thus, I'd refuse your application.

That is my opinion based on interpretation of the extant law.

Since the work experience of the spouse gives zero points (unless it's Canadian work experience) isn't it better to just fill it in as personal history to avoid the stress of getting reference letters? please advise

Yes, that's what I meant.

okayyy I understand. But then again...
""“An intention by a foreign national to become a permanent resident does not preclude them from becoming a temporary resident if the officer is satisfied that they will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for their stay.” Dual intent is present when a foreign national who has applied for permanent residence in Canada also applies to enter Canada for a temporary period as a visitor, worker or student. Dual intent on the part of the applicant is therefore not prima facie grounds for refusal of temporary resident status.""

""Refusals do not stem from having two intents. They stem from having a single bona fide intent (i.e., to become a permanent resident) and misrepresenting the second intent (i.e., to become a temporary resident) in order to achieve the first intent.

For example: an applicant for a work or study permit who indicates that they have no intention of leaving Canada has demonstrated only a single intent – permanent residence. This application would be refused, even if the applicant might qualify for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) or the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). This is because the applicant has shown that they do not respect the terms and conditions of temporary residence, should they not qualify for a Permanent Resident stream. ""

People please help me use second eye to look at this boya its me looking at it the wrong way undecided
