Iv never prepared dog food myself as i only buy ready made like crunches and can.
Sm1 asked me to buy red maize,millet,soya beans and dry fish,then grind together in powdered form to be cooked and served.Is this ok for dog.Plz advice on this

I grinded dried fish with it,maybe i will add titus for the aroma of the fish to attract them

U can add grounded groundnut and put kuli kuli on top. U'll see how deyll chop it like mad

Are u serious? Plz im i didnt roast any of the items i grinded oooo.Hope its nt a problem,i just bought the red maize,millet and soya beans and grinded them.

Seriously i don't really know, but Wen I make mine, i roast d groundnut and soya beans, why because d peel of d groundnut would remove and would come out as powder Wen u grind it. Second because of soya beans, u heard d back peel is toxic, so roasting dat too would make you able to peel d back. And d Kúli kuli can be gotten from dose Hausa dey sell really cheap, so U'll just put some on top like meat or hide it inside d thing finish so dat deyll dig through the food to find it. But too much of d proteins too ain't good..

D maize or Millet would be dry already, so dose one don't have issues. D reason of all dis drying and roasting is to allow the feed come out in grounded form dry and can be preserved for longer.

Take notice of their poop Wen dey eat it. My dogs couldn't digest d corn well , it comes out of dere poop , so I changed it to wheat..

Thanks man,i just pray dey manage tru ds bcz i didnt roast the soyabeans,though i didnt add groundnut so i just bought chiken neck now so after cooking the mixture i will add the chiken stock to serve it.
Next time i will take note of urs ,wheat,millet,soyabeans,groundnut,fish.The soyabeans and groundnut will be roasted before grinding.I really appreciate i will check their poo now to know if they digested it well

yea who knows, my dogs really liked it sha,and it helps dem in gaining weight due to the high protein content. itz just d procedure in making it dat dont allow me to be doing it again like dat jare. now itz eba and kuli kuli dem dey chop..
