Yes, soldiers have barricaded the whole area as rampaging indigenes of Owerri decided to stop the demolition of their market by any means necessary. Ama Awusa market has also been vandalized by rampaging youths. 2 people have allegedly lost their lives to soldiers bullets and among them is a 14 year old boy who came to help his mom sell her goods.
