The two movements of IPOB and ISIS shares quite some forms of similarities and differences, which makes them outstanding in their respective activities. The following are their Similarities:
1) The two movements has no respect for old boundaries. Both IPOB and ISIS denigrate old boundaries. while ISIS has captured a large swathes of lands from Syria to Iraq to Lebanon, and also Libya and Nigeria, IPOB has breached the old Biafra map, entering North of Nigeria claiming areas with the Middle belt ,up to Southern Kaduna.

2) Both Movements has a leader,who is a Spiritual leader, Supreme leader and Commander in chief. ISIS leader, Abubakar al-Baghdadi is the supreme leader and Spiritual leader, called a caliph, of ISIS, called while Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is the Supreme and Spiritual leader of IPOB.

3) Both Movements has a strong ideological leaning and they both drew their ideology from Religious and political expression and popularized it.

4) Both groups has no respect for cultures or expressions or history of a society that run counter to their way or wish. While ISIS goes about destroying ancient history monuments in the name of Allah, IPOB go about destroying Cultures and history of Igboland, claiming Igbos Jewish ancestry and bowing down to their Supreme leader,as against the custom of Igbo people. these they do in the name of Chukwu Okike Abiama.

5) Both groups and their supporters are respecter of no one and always wish for death. Both groups doesn't fear death as they see death as a accomplishments. While ISIS commits Suicide attacks, IPOB members dares Nigeria security forces bullets, to the extent that their leaders vows to,if need be, lose his family members to their struggle.

6) The manner of the quick gains of both groups Struggle confound many,for which the groups leaders claim Divine.

7) Both groups are Extremists and are religiously backed. ISIS are extremist wahabi terrorist gangs while IPOB are Judeo-Christian extremist agitators.

The differences between ISIS and IPOB includes:
1) ISIS is international terrorist network condemned and rejected by all nations on earth while IPOB work within the framework of international laws.
2) ISIS has brought suffering,death and destruction in it's wake while IPOB members are instead killed by Nigeria security forces albeit unarmed.

Bros, while we are both Danites and both Igbo, I totally, TOTALLY, disagree with u on this one. THERE IS NO COMPARISON BETWEEN IPOB AND ISIS. Just as example, Kanu is nobody's spiritual leader. These people have their own churches they attend and their own priests - not Kanu!
