Matthew 26:14
"Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."

KEEP WATCH – BE ON THE ALERT
During the time of war, a soldier must be physically and mentally fit. Courage and a selfless attitude are other required qualities to have. Regular patrolling and guarding duties for hours on end are part and parcel of the Job. These tasks are normally carried out on a rotational basis within a team. The objective is to stay alert and watchful at all time.

To let one’s guard down during time of war can be very fatal.
Same illustration can be applied to a boxer. A boxer who lets his guard down in the ring should not be surprised when a hook, upper cut or jab comes like a thunderbolt on his cheekbone. The first instruction you are given as a boxer is “Guards up!” Doing otherwise is giving the opposition undue advantage. Exposing oneself will entice the enemy to go on the offensive.

PRAYER - WEAPON OF WARFARE
What prayer does is erect a spiritual barrier that the enemy cannot break into. It builds your confidence. It eliminates fear, worry and anxiety. Cleanses the spiritual air wave that surrounds you. Makes you more focus and increases your ability to discern. It increases your peace knowing that God is with you.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5
For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh. The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We tear down arguments, and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.…”

IT IS WELL. GOD BLESS wink
