I don't know but I did mine 6 days after I got the video invite. The interview was quite straightforward and it's better to do it early. Just be yourself.

Please what did you score in your logical and numerical assessment, cos i have been waiting for a feedback after doing both.
I had to even contact korn ferry to help me solve the error issues before i was able to do both.
i scored 90 and 70.

Hi Everyone,

I completed the video interview and I only got 5 questions! From what I have seen on the internet, people have faced around 11 questions. Did anyone else face 5 instead of 11? (They were all different questions)

Another thing is, I scored on the 99th percentile on both the Logical and Numerical. Does that make up for the possible mistakes that a candidate may exhibit during the video interview?

Thanks and I wish all of you the very best.

I am a candidate from Asia by the way. This is a great place to discuss
Re: Standard Chartered Bank International Graduate Programme 2018 by Fremaxx: 6:43am On Oct 13, 2019
A good question. Your interview performance is definitely separated from your test score. Well some organizations compare candidates' interview with the test score. It's good you had 99th percentile, I think you would be considered for the next stage. Well done bro![ kissquote author=stringsnchords post=83089008]Hi Everyone,

Yeah, I think its only fair if they look at that separately. A candidate falling within 75th or 80th percentile may handle a real time scenario much better than someone on 98th or 99th.

I also heard from a lot of people that your University matters. Even though SC states that you only need a bachelor's degree. But, most people who have applied or were able to get hold on to some internal information have said that SC only prefer candidates who have studied from the best institutions (locally or globally). I don't know how it affects the applicants from Africa, but in Asia, this is something which has been happening.

Hi.

So, I took the assessment yesterday and scaled through. Here are a few tips I followed, I hope it helps.

- Ensure asking your manager questions or to help you for a task is always close to your last options. They want to see you try on your own, to take initiative first before going to ask for help.

- When there's a chance given to you by your manager to do something you're not really confident enough you can do, make sure you don't reject it. Rejecting it should be your last option.

- Show that you enjoy NETWORKING and COLLABORATION and HELPING others in the team. If a team member asks you for help, asking them to go to another person or turning them down should come last or close to last.

- When you have to speak with clients, you have to show you can be prepared for any question that might arise in the meeting. Even if you realised impromptu, you still have to figure a way to make sure you don't lose the client.

Like for instance there's a situational question of going to a meeting with a senior colleague who calls to let you know they won't be coming anymore and you have to go alone. Even though it's the Senior colleague who knows the elements of the meeting well. You have to still show them that you can salvage the situation and not lose the client. Basically, just show that you are at least always in the loop regardless if you're the one on top of a situation or not.

- Also show that your work is priority. But when there is a clash between your work and a chance to network in one situational question for instance, make sure your answers at the top are your work followed by a possibility to still network.

I don't mean to scare you guys but let me just tell you the truth, you're wasting your time and data going through the assessment and interview. Companies like these don't employ people like you they only employ those with well known referees. They already know who they want. What you're doing now is just for formality. You'd better start looking else where and stop wasting your time. It may sound harsh but I know Nigerians love hearing lies. Bye!
