The MTN monthly Data of 1Gb+ 500Mb is fake. it is not real. My data now finishes in less than two weeks. i did not use it finish.MTN duped me. I will urge everyone reading this to stop subscribing to MTN. Spread the news. We Nigerians are not foolish.

why dont you proceed to show us a screenshot of your device data usage and check if it tallies with your data consumption. and i really dont know how to tell nigerians that data bundles are not time based even 40gb can finish in one day if you use it. please Glo is not an alternative ooo. they have d worst internet service, at times it will look as if they deliberately off their mast because network just dey disappear .

I thought initially it was my office but at home I experience same. it is either d network is fluctuating or it go off for several hours.

even when I was using Airtel 2g to browse it is faster than d useless Glo of 3g.

Glo should stop saying they are d grandmaster of data joor. data you cannot enjoy.

From personal experience, i have been using mtn for quite a long time, i do alot of video calling and the experience hasn't been to bad in terms of data consumption until like 3 months back. The data rush out like mad, i was subscribing almost everyday. I personally i believe mtn increased their data consumption rate.

Luckily for me, Glo has a very good network in my area, i subscribed 3k for 12gb and surprisingly it lasted for morethan 3 weeks which i would have spent close to 10k using my mtn line. So far it has been Glo.

actually, it is not mtn, it is instagram, snapchat, whatsapp status, those app dey sap data like fvck. just keep browsing nairaland and other sites without visiting those aformentioned places, your data will last longer. youtube video also dey sap data. like someone said, mtn is the best network for now. glo's best data network is a pseudo.

mtn has started zapping too. Especially their weekly bundle which has been my trusted plan. I have rolled over so much that my expiry date is far ahead so no fear but recently, i noticed it takes 3 days to be exhausted without download. 1gb just vanishes. I have a separate sim fo downloads at midnight so i don't even stream/download. I leave that till midnight. So OP is right. MTN now zaps and its bad

streaming video kor oceaning video ni. I check the data rate not up to 1.5gb. I am sure MTN gave me 200MB and lied to me that it is 1gb+500mb. The 500mb bonus on the other end is fake and doesnt exist. They sup my data and deliberately alloweed it to finishe early. This is not my first time of using MTN.. MTN has join the gangs of armed robbers and yahoo boys too.

They're all the same.. 9mobile will take away your airtime and when you call them to complain and tell them to refund you your money, they'll say you're big for that

All of you claiming the data zaps faster than normal most likely don't turn off your data regularly. when you are not using your data the Android still uses it too run sum background process that are not necessary. The process Android OS in the screenshot sent uses a lot of data though it's a background process. There should be smtn zapping your data without you knowing. A data counter app can also be used to keep track of the data you use.
One more thing, most people forget about the uploading part of using data and consider downloading alone. Having the notion that downloading a file of 20mb should take 20mb form your data balance is so so wrong.
PS: I dislike it when I hear people complain about data zapping
