For those who do not have any family living in Ireland, is it needed to specify accommodation plans in the application?
If you have such plans, then include it. If you don't, make sure the living expenses for a year is sufficiently reflected in your sponsor's or your account.

if your tracking number
Starts with “W” you won’t be able to track it

Please can you explain why?

Please don't give out any information you are not sure of. Tracking number is tracking number. If it has been processed and shipped, your tracking number will work.

I applied using a 7,000 euro bond which my sponsor purchased for me.

Hello good morning, I submitted on 31st July, this morning I tried tracking it, it's saying no records found is there any course for alarm, although I have been able to track it before right now it's saying no records found...

Most likely, you have left a number or alphabet out or added a space at the end. Try again using the correct number without a space and it should work.

Seriously, I just don't know what's up with Ireland embassy. They should know that students have just few weeks to resume. They should hasten up and issue visas abeg
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by CastedDude: 10:34am On Aug 20, 2019
I don't understand. Is it via UPS that you tracked that it will be delivered on August 15th? If your documents have arrived UPS, then the embassy has since settled ur case, it should now be an issue of delivery. Today is 20th.... Can you please post a screenshot of what you tracked for better clarification.

Ireland is a better destination, there are post study work options and PR as well. A very high Visa Success rate If you are properly guided

I just had my 2nd Canadian visa denied... I'm so down ryt now... I'm thinking about Ireland as the next step.. what are the necessary requirements for Ireland visa??
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by kelss5020: 12:04pm On Aug 20, 2019
please do not apply, there is a high chance of your visa been refused. you should defer til Jan/Feb 2020 and provide an account statement of 7000euro or do the Bond Instead
kc4ujesus11:
I submitted my application in Lagos on the 6th August for Griffith College Dublin 8. My supported documents are legit and my sponsor bank account is also wealthy and I have also paid 90% of the school fees. My only concern now is, my personal bank account is low in balance, I have around 200k left there.

What advice do you have for me ?
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by phychem: 12:05pm On Aug 20, 2019
Jonghyunwife:
For those yet to apply, avoid NCI or better still do your research about schools and their policies especially in areas concerning grades, and failure rates well before applying. Also on how foreign students are treated in relation to nationals. Do your research, very important.
What's wrong with NCI?

Is ireland study permit visa easy to an extent to get? I just got denied by canada thinking of ireland.
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Pelumos(m): 12:12pm On Aug 20, 2019
I am not following. Why do you think there is a high chance of the fellow's visa being refused? He/she said the personal account is the one with
200k and not that of the sponsor, the account of the sponsor is fine according to the person. Furthermore the application has already been submitted and there is nothing the person can do.

Who’s going to DBS here
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by kelss5020: 12:21pm On Aug 20, 2019
Are you using your personal account for the application, If so, you need to explain how you earn the funds in your acc and since your business is not registered, its still possible to use it like that, but there are ways around it, they understand not all private businesses are registered or you should do the bond account to save you the stress.... With that, you wont be needing everything you stated
Christeety:
Good evening. Thanks for the advice.
Pls I have few questions and need answers from anybody that can help.
1) I worked last in 2016, but it was a one-man business, we weren't given employment letter and salary was paid by cash. If I include it in my C.V how do I back up the claim with necessary documents eg Bank statement, employment letter and letter of recommendations
2) 2017, I started my farming business, but I didn't register my business. Can I include it in my C.V?
3) 2018, I enrolled for my masters program in Unilag and finished this year but we haven't been given certificate. Should I state it in my C.V? Because have read stories about how visas were denied because they felt you just completed a masters program why coming for another one?

4? Is it compulsory for my statement of account to show evidence of salary?

Pls I'll be grateful if my questions are being answered cos I intend applying for visa next week. Thanks guys

The people unable to track their UPS package, or their waybill/tracking doesn't start with 1Z, did you apply at the Lagos or Abuja VFS?
