He was the son of David and is alleged to be the wisest man that has ever lived. He is painted largely as a benevolent figure. But what you read in this book will make you question everything you were told to believe about him.

Who is Solomon speaking of killing with a “shameful death”?

Most churches have a history of corruption and deception not just the Catholics. Pentecostal churches also have cases of rape, embezzlement, paedophiles, fraud,ritual killings, deception, twisting of scriptures, infringement of privacy e.t.c Nairaland frontpage is a testimony to this fact.

No book has any right to be incorporated into the bible. Solomon's life is not a clear example a Christian should follow though part of his life is ideal for us to live. Solomon at some points went out of God's ways to worship other gods but he still operated under the grace of his father.
The bible was compiled and the compilers gathered books that are relevant illustrations from Adam to Jesus. The ultimate direction of all the books was the salvation of man. And books that didnt display the nature of God or point towards salvation were removed

God has words that he spoke directly to man, through his voice, visions, dreams etc, those were the ones he commanded man not to add or diminish. U will understand better if u read Job 1 to end u will even suggest that job should be removed from the bible

The op just made us understand that he doesn't know anything about the Bible origin else he would have understood that, it was Martin Luther a protestant who removed those books from the Bible and termed it the protestant Bible and he succeeded at it.

The Catholic Bible officially has 72 books with all those books he mentioned inside it. The protestant Bible has only 66 books.

I hope the OP is a bit educated now.

You need to understand that all the old testament are arrows pointing to Jesus. Salvation is in the new testament.

Luke 24:27 And  beginning at Moses and all the prophets,  he expounded unto them in all the  scriptures the things concerning himself. 

Acts 28:23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

The law and prophet are symbolic of the old testament.

I took my time to read the said verse and I realise that the text the Op quoted was twisted and thus making Solomon look evil. Those stuff written there according to Solomon was the false arguments enemies of God use in deceiving people into their fold.
