I doubt if there is... My former boss used to have an S6 or something like that... She complained bitterly about the dearth of good mechanics.... I love this suv but mehn.... No one wants to buy wahala jare.

Hmm, sounds strange, that your boss couldn't find someone to fix ordinary S60 here in Lagos, I have kids aged around 19-22yrs of age who can unmount and mount an S60 engine in a couple of hours, it's basic work now.

That said, there are tons of good mechanics who can handle the S60 and XC90 quite comfortably(also pocket friendly) no matter the issue, without much fuss, obviously you'll notice that's what I have based on for the past two years, owing to that

Well, information, they say is power and I guess your boss just kept on finding herself among the wrong company, not knowing the right place to go, unfortunate.

Which model are you looking at, what's popular around here is XC90 mainly sha, few S80's and S40's. And you know popularity has an effect on availability of parts, no one wants to buy parts for a car that's not rampant and stock up

I'm looking at the S40 and S60 since you have mentioned in previous posts your reservations about the S80. I feel the XC90 will be more expensive to procure and maintain...but you can give your professional advice. I presently use a Mazda MPV 2004/2005 which I got when it was already 10 years old but when I buy another car, I don't want to get a car that is already 10 years or more old based on my experiences.

I'm not a Toyota fan at all...thus I'm looking at some other brands like Volvo or Honda or maybe Peugeot....hence my enquiries from people like you the professionals.

The S60 is OK, also note that the S80 of those later models are not the same engine specs with those earlier ones that are troublesome, but since you already own an MPV, I'll say the closest to a like-to-like replacement will still be the XC90.
