This is to inform all Delta State Students that Midwestern Oil and Gas Company Limited, operator of the Umusadege Field in OML 56, Delta State on behalf of itself and its JV partner SunTrust Oil is offering a number of Scholarship Awards to suitably qualified Nigerian students for its 2017/2018 Scholarship Scheme.

The purpose of this Scholarship is to promote academic excellence and improving the skill-base among the youths of our host communities and the whole of Delta State.

Category of Scholarship Award:
a). For Host Communities Only: Secondary School Merit and Community Award.
b). For Host Communities Only: University Merit and Community Award.
c). For Delta State Indigenes Only.

Requirements for the Secondary School Merit and Community Award – For Host Communities Only
1). Open to J SS 1 and J SS 2 Students only
2). Admission letter to Secondary School in Nigeria
3). Result in the last 2 years in Primary School
4). Birth Certification
5). Identification letter signed by Ward Counsellor or CACC (Community Accredited Contact-men Committee).
6). Valid email address

Requirements for the University Merit and Community Award – for Host Communities Only
1). Scholarship is open to 100 and 200 level students at the time of application
2). JAMB/UTME and University admission letter from an accredited/approved university in Nigeria
3). Minimum of 5 credits in SSCE or GCE including Mathematics & English in one sitting
4). Current University ID Card
5). Birth Certificate
6). Identification letter signed by Ward Counsellor or CACC (Community Accredited Contact-men Committee)
7). Valid email address

Requirements for the University Merit Award – for Delta State Indigenes Only
1). Scholarship is open to 2oo level students who must have 3.5 and above CGPA in his/her first year in the university
2). Minimum of 5 Credits in SSCE or GCE including Math and English in one sitting
3). JAMB/UTME and University admission letter from an accredited/approved university in Nigeria
4). Current University ID Card
5). Birth Certificate
6). Identification letter from LGA
7) Valid email address
