There is nothing wrong technically in blaming the devil because he is the author, the resource person of all that is wrong and against the kingdom of God. The devil started this whole mess to spite God so part of his punishment according to God is that all the sins of the world will be heaped on him so it is happening. God promised to pit enimity between Satan and man so even where Satan uses men they still turn around and curse him eventually.

This however does not clear man from blame and the penalty for sin because He is a free moral agent and has been given the choice of wrong or right, a will and a privilege no other creature was given. So Satan's pre-trial punishment is to bear all the count charges of all men who ever lived and offended. Then when his own are read out....

The reason very simple,If any good things happen to you now,without any delay you will gives God the glory.And if any opposite of good happened which is bad, then all evils work belongs to devil.

The Universal Law of Harmony states that every disharmonious actions we take flows out to the universe and rebounds back to us sooner or later in our lives.
This, in line with karma, shows that every little thing we do wrong will surely backfire on us some day. But because we must have forgotten the wrong things we do by then, we simply blame the devil for our misfortunes.
Though the devil is evil like you said, but he is only responsible for about 10% of our misfortunes. The remaining 90% is caused by our disharmonious actions. So when we attribute all our misfortunes to the devil, we are simply magnifying him and making him look more powerful than he really is, and this always annoys God.

I'm religious and I blame very few if anything on the devil. Most things i blame them on man's imperfection and evil.It is simple.Evil exists because people do not exert the effort to be good. Rather than admit the fault is theirs, they blame it on a Boogey Man or convenient supernatural being. It sure beats cleaning up one's own act. Blame it on something or someone else.
