Good morning fellow nairalanders,i'm pretty new on this forum but i've utilised this platform for sometime nw.
I am about to purchase a Chevrolet Malibu 2002 frm a friend who shipped in frm Canada but i barely knw anything about this car except wat i've gathered frm the internet.
Pls i would appreciate info frm people who have used the car or who have practical knowledge of it like availability of parts,maintenance & recommended mechanics,efficiency,fuel consumption & any other relevant information.

I don't know too much about Lagos but i will be concerned about getting parts readily available. Also, getting good knowledgable mechanic might be something you will need to think about.

If you have the right type of oil filter and engine oil, you should have no problem for a while.Just get the maintenance schedule and follow it.

Depending on mileage and conditon, its about the right price excluding shipping and clearing.

So in Naija terms its about N1.1m+ to land.

Those who like the Malibu will not go near Accord or Camry.
Very good with fuel economy, all service parts are generic so if you kow the type of filters/belts you need, it available in the aftermarket.
If you need replacement parts(engine/transmission), you can get your friend to ship it in(usually cheaper than in Nigerian market
