Client:
Olive Branch Hotel No. 5 Originwo Street, Behind Nextime Supermarket, GRA Phase III Port Harcourt. A 20 Room Boutique Hotel with exquisite Hotel Services and facilities.
Job Requirements
i. Degree-level qualification in a hospitality and/or marketing field
ii. Proven work experience (minimum 3 years) as a restaurant manager, restaurant general manager, Hospitality manager or similar role.
iii. Previous Culinary knowledge is a great advantage.
iv. A self-starter who can work independently: displays self-confidence, enthusiasm and strong commitment to customer care
v. Excellent selling and networking capability
vi. Knowledge of local market
vii. Knowledge of hospitality
viii. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
ix. Strong analytical skills to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
x. Positive attitude and good communication skills
xi. Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
xii. Excellent grooming standards
xiii. Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
xiv. Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative

Job Description
i. Manages daily restaurant operations and assists with menu planning, maintains sanitation standards and assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods.
ii. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance in areas of responsibility.
iii. Oversee the dining area, supervises food and beverage service staff in accordance with operating policies that he or she may help establish.
iv. Plans menus by consulting with chefs;
v. Handle guest complaints in restaurants.
vi. Ensures new products are executed properly following roll-out.
vii. Is capable of handling irate customers with a friendly/calm attitude.
viii. Ensures product quality and great service.
ix. Initiate develop a proper cost control system for the restaurant.
