AutoReportNG:

NADDC's committment is to work with all credible and progressive stakeholders in enabling the Nigerian automotive sector leapfrog into a comprehensive advanced ecosystem populated with sustainable, energy efficient and inherently safe vehicles and transportation solutions.

What on earth does this mean?.....this is just a bunch of hot air...farth. These people need to be shot...shot dead. They are a disgrace to Nigerians....and Blacks worldwide.... used as an example as to why Black states can't progress. Here they are running abroad...begging to be exploited....rolling out the red carpet for foreigners to kill our local auto industry before it can develop.....lacking the most basic of infrastructure....electricity, roads and water....but wanting to be with cutting edge technology. These men are traitors...they need to be shot...... and shot again.

PaperLace:
You are getting where?

Attracting new automotive assembly/manufacturing plants, as well as reviving comatose ones is brilliant, though I see this as putting the cart before the horse. There is nothing he told them there that they don't know. Most of them know Nigeria is an investment haven _but to attract such FDI, several things should be put in place.

Investors are most likely to channel their funds into a system where policies are stable. Where there is commitment to agreements _that's excluding other factors that makes business thrive. The absence of the aforementioned (as is the case in Nigeria) is just a catalyst for impeded growth in the target sector.

They should fix Nigeria, the stumbling block isn't really lack of finance/financiers _but lack of trust in the system. If it's so rosy, Innoson and most local businesses would do better.

Instead of building a stable economy where business thrives, and creating a stable middle class that has increasing purchasing power, car manufacturing is their focus..

How many Nigerians can afford a N30m or N35m BMW car ? Like the Toyota and Lexus we are managing is not enough..

Well done bro for this your breakdown......
Let demons of change keep deceiving their self.

Abeg manage that small wine for this weekend cheesy cheesy cheesy
nurey:
NADDC will not kill me

If Innoson sells it's CKD for 5million
Kia and Hyundai sell same for 8million
Toyota sells theirs for 15million
I just wonder how much BMW will sell its brand new 1 series not to talk of Benz C-class.

Until the steel industry and power industry goes through a positive revolution it's all a mirage. Minimum wage 18k let's say the cheapest brand new car is 3million do the maths

3million / 18,000 = 166months = 13years which profit making company will drop a car on monthly repayment for such long term.

Besides people who can afford such money prefer to buy low mileage tokunbo
3million for tokunbo camry muscle 2008XLE or brand new Kia picanto or Innoson umi camry all the way grin

Why now? This is the time to promote our indigenous manufacturer like Innoson And not to attracting same people that has been in d business for year.

Can we just think outside the box for a minutes?

Innosson is not indigenous. Hes assembling parts of a chinese car in Nigeria. Same thing these companies will be doing.
