I don't know how to equate it to those containers you listed but mudus is mostly used for measurement in the north

A mudu in the picture is the container the woman is holding with the corn in it

That is the first essence of the thread, then looking for a way to integrate food from the north down to the south and aquatic food produce from the south to the north and cut down excesses of middlemen.

They are the reason for price disparity, they take advantage of the fact that there is no system or working system

Pictures would be much appreciated

Since you are the producer I believe selling at 10000 you would sell faster, on the average ,oil 25 ltrs is 12000.

Just an advice

Could be large market demand and low suppliers. Most goods I see are more expensive in bodija than mile 12.

Do you have access to bodija market? But it doesn't make sence, you pass Ibadan before you get to Lagos either from the middle belt or north

Bodija market is almost as big as mile 12, there must be an underlying factor

Please if you have access to other basic food produce from bodija do update sir

Would check your source later for yesterdays update

We can deduce that Lagos generally have a cheaper wholesale price compared to Ibadan.
The only thing I see cheaper is red beans that is more expensive in Lagos at 45,000 compared to Ibadan at 39,000 per 100kg bag
