Total  Upstream  Nigeria  Limited  (TUPNI)  Operators  of  OML130),

  in  pursuance  of  its  Corporate  Social Responsibility,  invites  applications  from  suitably  qualified

Nigerian  students  for  its  2017/2018 NNPC/TOTAL   National Merit Scholarship Scheme.

ELIGIBILITY:

To qualify for consideration, applicants MUST  : Be registered FULL  TIME undergraduates in a recognized Nigerian University o o Be  certified  100 or  200 level  students  at  the  time  of  application PLEASE NOTE:

The following categories of students need not apply o o o o Students with less  than  200 score in  UTME 200  Level Students with less than 2.50 CGPA on 5-point scale, or equivalent 300  level  students  and above Current  beneficiaries of similar  awards from the oil  and  gas industry Application Forms are available online ONLY.

To apply, applicants should visit the website:

This  application  opens  today,  Tuesday,  October  10, 2017  and  closes  on  Tuesday  October  31,  2017. Selection  tests  will  hold  on  Saturday,  December  2,  2017 at  designated  Centers nationwide,  which  will be  communicated  to  shortlisted  candidates  only.  Please  note  that  candidates  shall  bear  fully  the  cost of  transportation  to/from  test  venue.

Candidates  are  therefore  advised  to  choose  test  centers  closest to  them. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the selection tests.

Oya! Let me start jumping as first to comment. Mtchew, there is no big deal in it...
Anyways, they should go and pay those beneficiaries first, before advertising another.
It's even agbami that is giving me very sad state of mind...please anybody that knows how to communicate to them should help do so. We have really tried waiting! !

Like I said in the thread that was pushed to the front page yesterday, APPLY at the risk of High Blood Pressure and Disappointment.

Total should focus on paying their old scholars even upto 2013/2014 some of whom are being owed as much as 3 years arrears.

It might leave you agape but it's the naked truth.

Total has continued to imbibe in the shameless culture of advertising for scholarships when it is clear that the company has no interest in investing in csr activities that can actually benefit the general public.

Someone with a modicum of conscience in Trans Amadi or Victoria Island should stop this charade. There is nothing worse than false hope.
I thought someone addressed this issue on the other thread. Besides, the person even quoted you. He mentioned the fact that they(total) began paying up long time ago, and that they even paid the 2013/2014 set.

is this the recent trend? I was a beneficiary of total scholarship in my undergraduate days. The payments usually come in as at when due after I must have mailed them my results signed by my course adviser. The money was of great benefit to me..

I just resumed 200l first semester, but my 100l results are yet to be released, thus no cgpa.. Can I still apply?

If you'll be entering 200l next session, Apply as 100lvl.
IF you'll be entering 300lvl next session apply a 200l. You hould have your CGPA if you re in 200l
