You need to know that nobody can tell you about chances of getting visas, you may self evaluate yourself, the American embassy does not need to know what you have in your account, they judge by your profile and your power to convince them with your ties back home..
Yeanca:Understand that people have busy schedules, this place is nobody's office, just a little patient dear
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by Nobody: 8:41pm On Oct 15, 2017
Yeanca:Your chances are as bright as ever if you could prove home ties. First, think about something that would bring you back to your home country before you apply for visa.
Having a good job, good salary and good bank statement.
Good family business.
Working in a good company or reputable organization
Property like land, assets, trust accounts.
Being in the university and so on.

Good evening house! Please anyone should help me out!
1. If I want to invite a US citizen to Nigeria, should I address the letter to the person I'm inviting OR Nigerian embassy in Washington?? Which way is more preferable?
2. Must the person include bank statement when submitting the application over there?
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by OmoBendel24: 11:58pm On Oct 15, 2017
Do any of these; change travel plans, monitor for a date change to an earlier one if it will ever come up or move your interview to Abuja. You still have a chance to spare but with all care though....

Special greetings to all good people of this thread. I was introduced to this thread barely 1 week, I want to appreciate Lady G, Justwise and all.
I'm preparing my family to spend my vacation with my sibling during valentine next year. I have filled DS - 160 form for my family, but I'm in a remote place where I can't get required photo specifications to upload. My wife and child can get theirs. My question is;
1. Please can it be submitted without uploading my photo since I will go with photo on the day of interview
2. Can we appear this December to travel February
Lady G and good people your candid advise please.

If someone has been refused and banned for 10years from applying for UK visa due to false documentation, can it jeopardize application for American visa?
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by Nobody: 8:19am On Oct 16, 2017
Mikeshine:Yes to an extent. You could also be turned back at POE after obtaining your visa. That's why you need to be honest.
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by Mikeshine(m): 8:55am On Oct 16, 2017
But this wasn't my fault, it was agent I gave the application to then that submitted the application with false documentation to UK embassy. So my chances are slim?
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by LadyGuinivere: 9:00am On Oct 16, 2017
Mikeshine:My dear. The law all over the world is that you are bound by the acts of your agent.
Do you sincerely wish us to believe you didn't know what he was doing? I don't believe you sha and I usually give the benefit of the doubt.
Yes. Evidence of misrepresentation in a prior visa application /for another country MAY reflect against you. The vo will decide.
And don't even bother with that excuse of " I didn't know" .If I'm a vo it will vex me
Thanks Mr. Ife
I thank God my "wicked posts" helped a few. Jah bless

Na wa o. . What's my chances now? Should I wait till the ban lapse or what can I do?
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by OtunOba15(m): 9:21am On Oct 16, 2017
Your agent has your consent representing your interest. Yes your chances very very slim

Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by Nobody: 9:23am On Oct 16, 2017
Mikeshine:You employed the services of an agent. So, it's your fault. I'm sure if you had scaled through you wouldn't had said this.
Listen, if you go ahead and argue and tell a VO it wasn't your fault, he or she might get upset and deny you visa. You just have to be obedient and accept what happened in the past.
No, your chances is bright. You just need to be honest in your application.
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by tripleaa: 9:28am On Oct 16, 2017
Hello Lady G,
I will be glad if you advice on this.I applied for a student visa in 2007, unfortunately, the Agent i used to write my SAT exams prior to my visa interview issued me a fake result. Gullible i presented it at the interview and i was denied and i guess i have been banned too because the interviewer said she wont allow me enter her country and seized the fake SAT result. since then i haven't applied again. Fast forward to 2017 i.e 10 years after, i now work with an Organisation and we do some work with the american government. I am married now with 2 kids. Now, i want to reapply with my wife to go on vacation with my 2kids to the US. What do you think is my current status? Am i right when i say i assume i have been banned?Thank you
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by OtunOba15(m): 9:42am On Oct 16, 2017
But the VO answered you already
Hello tripleaa -
If you were subject to a lifetime ban, the consular officer who refused your visa before would have told you so both in writing and verbally. If you were just refused under section 214b, we won't place too much weight on that refusal from 10 years ago, and will focus on your current ties.
If you are subject to a lifetime ineligibility, you can still apply, and as with fairfora's boss you may be eligible to request a waiver of the ineligibility.
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 3 by tripleaa: 9:49am On Oct 16, 2017
Thank you for your responses. I forgot to say my passport was stamped and a number written on the stamped area by the consular. What Is The consequence of that action.
