Dear Akwa Ibom people, this is 2017, we mustn't let what happened in the late 20th and early 21st century to happen again. Federal character must reflect in all federal businesses.

Now that looters have decided to reconvene and each state and region doing their best to bring back their own from exile we must not be left behind.

It is no longer news that none of our people has made the list of top 100 looters under Ogbasanjo, Yaradua and even under our own Jonathan. That must not be allowed to continue.

We seem to be the only state that banter about looting is in the state ring whereas others stage the show nationally and internationally. I'll appreciate instead of our people at the presidency to strategize on how to participate in the state looting come 2019 much of that energy should be put at having a fair share of the spree at the federal level.

Let us not be left behind again, mbok. This time we must equally take our share. I thank Baba for having considered our experienced men fit for the Federal level.
