Wow nice update BJ,after removing those tank, did you guyz install another tank or what?

Insurance wants everyone to discard their tanks or they cancel their insurance. Everyone is switching over to gas now cos gas is easier to install, it is somewhat cheaper and also less fire hazard. Sometimes we work with guys that install a new one if it it underground tank, we get it out of the ground and the other team that works with Guy M install a brand new basement tank. The tanks are basically heating oil tanks used during winter to keep the house warm and i think it is also used for boilers for hot water.

What we avoid is Leakages, cos Fire department inspects most of the time and a lot of times we need permit from fire dept to work.

Already at my other job. can't use phone while working.

Like i said earlier on.

This thread is not the "i have family in yankee" thread. it is not the "I work professionally" thread.

This thread is my thread, the hustle of a Naija guy with no family here. I practically have no one in Yankee. it is just me, my wonderful Fiancee and my daily activities.

I don't intend to "sugarcoat" anything for anyone. I consider myself as a hustler. if it is legit, i will do it.

like i said, you don't need to lie to anyone. be truthful, be honest, be diligent. and most definitely, you will smile in the end

Awake, getting ready for the day's hustle. Made coffee already. Lady K is still fast asleep (today is her off day. Beta pikin grin grin) > my back hurts from all the standing from my 2nd job. I don take two ibuprofen. Man must hustle grin grin. I really really want to quit my 2nd job but i can't. it is the job attached to my permit. If i quit or get fired, i can loose my permit and loose my visa status. (one thing i will take away from the J1 visa)

One important event today: I Have an Interview. So, i carry my life note with me (Life note cos i write important stuffs in there and all the things i need to remember for interviews to refresh my memory)

Adjustment of Status update:

No update currently
I dey feel you boss.
I plan on coming to the US on F1 visa to study engineering from Fall 2019.

Is it possible to get full undergrad funding and is it possible to get a work permit while on F1 visa??

Only have one work today. (Should have rescheduled my interview for today angry ). Guy M text me last night about customer for today wont be paying for 30days. I offered to work for him free and get paid he 30days. He turned it down. Like who turns down free labor.?. 99% of Nigerians will jump on it. I text him to say its not about the money (i lied, its all about the money grin grin). Like going out and coming back evrysingle day with money. The best part about it os when i send 2 days pay from one job to Nigeria and it turns to really big money. grin

You also have some people who have bigger homes in the suburbs where their families stay and maintain an apartment in the city for work.

BlowJobs:
This Maserati was parked close to the apartment where we worked today. I mean, who drives a Maserati but lives in an apartment? lol. Boston people. Rent is expensive in Boston so i can understand. and also the houses are tightly packed. It was hard finding parking

last pic is surrounding areas

I just got back from my first job. We worked in Boston today. Traffic was horrible. I didn't get to go for my interview Soi called the HR for a new appointment. New date is Friday afternoon.

Going to my 2nd job in like an hour. no time to take a shower. I'll try and update the thread before leaving

Can you imagine, you are unable to attend your job interview and you called to ne reschedule, and you were given new date which is Friday immediately.

If it were to be Nigeria, to even pick up your phone to call the HR or test the HR for interview reschedule would be hell, and even if you summon the courage, you would not receive feedback from them.

I have sent mail to alot of coy rescheduling my interview, but they would read your mail and phone messages, but they won't even attend to you.

I think Nigerian coy HR have a long way to go, majority of them are too lazy, I don't know what is their work, if not to interview candidate.

God bless you Mouth Gig, and I wish you success in everything you lay your hands on.

Keep dishing us this sweet stories, that is making our days, am sure alot of us are learning one or two things.

Yes. I know naija situation. Employees are treated like they are done a favor being employed.
Here, you are providing your service and time to them. Sp you get paid for either or both. Sometimes at work, we stand around and gist all day. But we have to pretend we are working. So, we get paid for our time. If there are less things to do and i don't wanna be seen idling around, i take the elevator to the 3rd floor, act like i forget something, take the elevator back to the groind floor, use the bathroom, take the elevator to the 3rd floor again then to the first floor, time spent doing all these is like 10-20mins. Oyinbo no care o, everytime they see you, they wanna see yiu moving or doing something. Don't just stand around not doing anything. grin grin grin grin

Lol, you are very funny.

I can relate to what you just said, during our school days the, when we see ourselves doing or gisting unnecessarily, we just tell each other that "time is CGPA", so lets go and use the time to jack small thing into our head.

Honestly, white people don't joke with time.

Your story won even want make me they think why I was mistakenly born in this country. grin grin

I know I would be there one day, and is very very soon.

I mean legally ooo, anything illegal, I am completely out of it.

Yes oo, every decent hard working Nigerian finding it hard to get a decent job, save decent money and live decent life must come here oo. If you are tired of naija situation, start to dey think of leaving o.

True story:
i used to pay hard hard prayers in Naija. "MFM die by fire" prayers. shouting and screaming prayers but ever since i left, my prayers are "on the go" prayers, simple silent prayers, no need to stress God. I discovered, if the system works, your "enemies" don't need to "die by fire". You just need to do your part and see the result. prayers are just added bonus to it

You need to add to your prayers. May you not be hit by stray bullets, and may you not be around when native terrorists are on rampage.

I am sorry. my screen name has nothing to do with my fiance. It is disrespectful sexualizing another person in such manner. Whatever two adults do in their homes is their personal business. And anything you think you know may or maynot be true

FYI, people all around the world are not that different from each other if you take away the skin color and standard of living.
