Our client, a major logistics support firm in the area of Marine operations in looking to engage interns on their one year Industrial Attachment or Youth corper to fill up the position of front desk Officer
Location
Peter Odili Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State
Specific Responsibilities:
i. Deliver excellent customer service at all times
ii. Receive visitors and ensure visits are properly logged.
iii. Receive all deliveries (including mails, packages and procurement bids) and maintain an appropriate record of all deliveries.
iv. Receive phone calls and keep accounts of all inquiries and direct them to the appropriate departments.
v. Prepare payment memos and analysis of quotes/fuel vouchers and ensures proper record keeping.
vi. Coordinate information on staff movement and its lodgment.
vii. Provide admin support, assignments and petty cash expenditures.
viii. Keeping front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material.
ix. Keep updated records and files
x. Take up other duties as assigned
Qualifications
i. Excellent customer service skills,
ii. Excellent organizational skills.
iii. Ability to communicate politely and professionally over the telephone and in person.
iv. Good IT skills and confidence/proficiency in all Microsoft packages are essential.
v. Ability to work under pressure and solve problems
vi. Pro‐active approach to dealing with company related issues.
