The Federal government under President Muhammadu Buhari has exhibited so far a corruption tendency of no proportion! A dungeon of gluttonous thieves, liars and morally bankrupt mofos called polithieficians, that’s what they are!

The Vice President who is a Pastor, Professor of Law and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria lies with reckless abandon without any atom of shame!

On Friday last week at the APC flag off in Onitsha, Osinbajo made an open declaration to confirm that the federal government has paid $2bn for the second Niger bridge. In his exact words:

“In fact I am being reminded that just two days ago, the Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF) paid $2bn for that same project. So we will definitely see our second Niger bridge soon. We will not make promises we cannot keep”.

Here are some contradicting facts

Let us not forget that the second Niger bridge project was awarded to Julius Berger in the year 2014 by Ex President GEJ at N177bn. Julius Berger was supposed to work on the basis of Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer. Hence, the FG will contribute 28% of the funds while Julius Berger completes it. Now they said they paid $2bn dollars which is equivalent to N712bn, meaning an additional whooping N535bn. How come?

Again, as at September 2017, Nigeria’s Sovereign Wealth Fund stood at $2bn according to the MD/CEO of Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority, Uche Orji. Hence, it is preposterous to say that the government paid $2bn for the second Niger bridge, being the exact amount in our SWF account.

Meanwhile, on the basis of corruption and accountability for public funds, let us compare and contrast this.
The total contract sum for the 42.5km world longest Jiaozhou Bay bridge in China is $1.5bn. And Osinbajo is claiming to have paid a whooping $2bn for a mere 11.5km second Niger bridge which was awarded at N177bn ($325m) by the previous administration that they termed corrupt. Who are we deceiving?

It is either that Osinbajo is a mere toy in the government house that doesn’t know what is happening around him, or he has deliberately made up his mind to tell bloody and blatant lies to Anambra people who are very eager to see the dream of second Niger bridge realised. His aim? To score cheap political points for Tony Nwoye.

Whichever way, we are tired of politics founded and embedded in lies. We hope to get rid of this messy administration come 2019. But until then, I say ‘No way for APC in Anambra come November 18th, for their mission is simple; to steal, to kill and to destroy’!
