A lady identified as Oki Adejoke, has recounted her ordeal in the hands of traffic robbers in Lagos. According to the lady, she and her sister in-law were coming from a function at 7.30pm on d 15th of October when the sad incident happened on Eko bridge in Lagos.

Her car window was smashed by the men of the underworld in traffic as they started stabbing her with knife and requesting for her phone and belongings at the same time.

The lady who revealed she was helpless , said that she was stabbed on her lap, arm and stomach by the hoodlums before a motorist who saw the robbery - hit one of the thieves very hard with his car...

According to the distraught lady, they met some policemen few meters after the robbery scene as they told them what happened. Rather than helping them, the police allegedly told them they could do nothing about it because another police was near the scene.

Somebody cannot buy car and enjoy it in lagos. First, traffic will not allow you test the car, then inside the traffic jam robbers will come and rob you.

So no to jungle justice. But unfortunately, The sad part is that armed robbers do carry our "jungle justice" on their victims.


So why say no to jungle justice on armed robbers caught in the act?

I keep telling people of how useless the Nigerian police are. Anytime I'm driving down to the west from Abuja, I always buy things to give to the soldiers till I get to my destination. The last time I went for a wedding function, I got souvenirs for the soldiers just to encourage them. They were all shocked that I brought wedding items for them( six different checkpoints from osogbo ). I prefer an army officer to any of these useless things in black and black.

Naija police. The worst in the whole wide world.
That's how my cousin's bus encountered armed robbers on lokoja - okene road and sped off. Got to a police checkpoint and told them that robbers were on their trail. The police entered their vehicle and zoomed off. And the robbers arrived. My cousin and fellow passengers ran into the bush to save their dear lives since our worthless police had left them to die.

What Kinda Police Do We Have In This Country ?

There, however, is a cure for robbers. But if I mention kerosene, beating, a car tyre, some will shoud "Human rights blah blah blah". What about the rights of victims?!?!?! left to me, tie them all to the back of a fuel truck in lagos, then drive all the way to Maiduguri. if they are still alive after that, pour kerosene and put them out of their misery.

I went to check your profile before making any comment. Seeing the day you registered gives me an idea of your age because I've bn on nairaland since 2005 myself and made me to cool temper. But this your comment is very disgusting. From criticizing the govt to talking about the items in the car. You have no singe human feeling for the blood stain on the car seat? Since we don't have gun license in the country. Every driver should have a weapon of any kind hidden at the foot side, it will be needful in times like this. I prefer a small dagger, sword, spanner, or stun electric device.. ...
