Developmental Representation, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa’s Technique…. Chuks Ahameful by chuksahamefule: 12:14pm On Nov 02, 2017
Senator Mao Arukwe Ohuabunwa despite being just 2 years and a few months old in the red chambers is not a stranger to legislative business, having represented Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency in the house of representative in the past so he is quite prepared and ready for the task of attracting development to Abia north senatorial zone.
Despite the electoral challenges he faced during and after the elections, but as a man in touch with his constituency and also well abreast of legislative functionalities, it did not take him long to initiate a motion on the urgent reconstruction of Arochukwu/Ohafia road given its strategic importance and the neglect it has faced over the years, where politicians have turned it into campaign material, but today by virtue of Senator Ohuabunwa’s legislative ingenuity the reconstruction of that road has been passed and included in the budget while action is ongoing on the Ohafia/Arochukwu road courtesy of Senator Mao Ohuabunwa.
Senator Ohuabunwa have also inline with his Corporate Social Responsibility successfully constructed class room blocks at Ututu and Item, he has also planted solar powered street lights at Arochukwu, and Isuikwuato, he also dug solar powered bore hole at Elu-ohafia and has also constructed skill acquisition center at Isuochi.
Senator Mao did not just set out to undertake all these developmental projects without first identifying areas of urgent need within his constituency being a man in tune with his environment.
Senator Ohuabunwa had also passed bills and raised motions in the red chambers that have been passed as law while some are still being considered and are at different stages of consideration.
