it was a cold night in the month of June and thunder rumbled across the distant sky,having been blindfolded i was led with several others into God-knows-where forest at midnight... after walking or rather stumbling for over 30 mins,we were ordered to halt in an area i knew was cleared judging from the fact that our feet no longer stumbled on shrubs and that i could feel the heat from a blazing fire despite the chilly weather... My heart was beating furiously while my mouth was as dry as sawdust and i was already cursing my stars and praying feverishly to God to spare me from this situation but little did i know that the night was still young. "Taaaaa who goes this unjanded 48", a scary voice rent through the still night, "arooo mate!", "aroo bagger you my rugged norseman" came the reply from what i judged to be at least 70 different voices... "aroo it is capped that the sweetness of madness is best known to a mad man and the sweetness of sailing is best known to a viking,never you hear the cry of the vulture nd disembark,for it is cap see no see tell no tell for d eye dat see today might not see tommorrow for d evil u set free today can another day come to destroy u, by the powers vested on me i declare this jojo open,taaa! arooooo rugged norsemen!. " aroo bagger you " Then hell was unleashed...... we were stripped naked made to lie on the bare floor before being beaten with cutlasses, gun butts,ordered to get up and dance to the tune of the throbbing drums, and beaten again..this went on for 3 days after which 12 of us out of the 31 intending members were blessed,blended and given our different deck names and assigned various positons..The others had fallen never to rise again.. I rose quickly through the ranks courtesy of my dexterity with the gun and the fact that i had personally thrown over 14 bst's overboard in less than 2 moons. |

We were hanging out at a popular bar along eke-awka/amawbia road with several members of the fraternity..the sole purpose of the gathering was to discuss how we can protect our brothers writing their final exams in school while taking down some marked members of rival fraternities.... ''poison wida you na, see e get matter wey ah wan highlight you on" ,temple turned to me. ''wetin sup?'' "baba see eh, shey you sabi that junction before ugwu Sabbath wey those dem aboki men dey position, howfar how u see am make we raise dust for there?" "Temple,temple; the ever rugged temple", i mused.Everyone knew that a robbery at the popular bureau de change site no matter how tempting it looks was almost a suicide mission,at least anyone who valued his life because it was adjacent to the state police c.i.d office.. "omo nothing lele, echo pointer,mamba and sweet,the movement go be after the next h.i.t make ah take the period source around,cap pointer say na him go be our vision " i replied after giving the idea some thought and a plan was already brewing in my head "udo, ah believe you die" temple shouted happily drawing the attention of passerby's .. Within the next couple of days i cleaned,oiled and assembled 4 ak47s meant for the job and contacted my source the D.P.O who promised to ensure a hitch free operation by promising to deploy his men for patrol on the said day.. On the d day i woke up around six am sharp, brushed and headed to my personal gym where i pounded my pectorals with some conventional chest exercises, before finishing them off with seven sets of FST-7, which stands for “Fascial Stretch Training.” i could feel the blood pumping through my veins and my heart pounding furiously.. by 10:30 am, i dressed in an all black attire complete with a headwarmer which could be pulled down to form a ski mask and rugged military boots ... i placed a call to temple who answered immediately," am ready" i said and the call disconnected.. barely 5 minutes later i heard 2 short sharp blasts of a car horn and i sniffed some crack coke before heading downstairs.. "baba,sweet no too gallant oo but this na my man ryder",temple said immediately i entered the s.u.v "wida na"..the short stocky twentyish year old temple introduced as ryder said... "i position" i responded , looked him over then anchored him.. 'make we sail" i ordered and pointer started the s.u.v and cruised away into the minor traffic.. we parked near a barb wire and alighted,while pointer kept the engine running, what happened next could best be described as a scene from an action movie as mamba,temple and ryder started spraying bullets into the air while i leveled my gun in front of the station and rained bullets into the cops who rushed out when they heard the gunshots.. we headed for the bags when a bullet whizzed past my head and struck mamba across the face before exiting through the back of his head and he fell into a pool of his own blood,i snatched 2 heavy Ghana must-go-bags while ryder took a hefty looking portfolio and we scooted into the Prado jeep and pointer engaged the engine and gunned into the express way.. Pointer maneuvered through the traffic,entered into a dusty street before coming out into an avenue around Ifite before the car stopped abruptly. i came down from the car and made for the car bonnet when i felt a hot piece of metal rip through my shoulder before i actually heard the gunshot;i watched the car raise dust as it sped away before descending into unconsciousness |

let's go there... how long I was out, I will never know but I woke up with a throbbing headache and the first thing I saw when my hazy sight cleared up was a four men crouching down in front of a low smoky fire burning right in front of me and I was stark naked... I tried moving only to be rewarded with a shooting pain in my left shoulder and I whimpered which was my biggest undoing, when I whimpered the men stopped whispering and looked right at me closely " he don wake chairmoo" the one referred to as "chairmoo" stood up and observed me carefully and quietly, looking right at him from The ground where I lay I judged instantly that he was at least 6ft tall,muscular and definitely a member of the dreaded ''777'' owing to the yellow pinup he had on this chest region.... "poison, poisonous poison, finally mgba mgba Don fall for your head and the almighty injew Don enter...kf Don catch you and Odin no fit pilot you comot" I smiled calmly to their obvious consternation even though I was thinking furiously and sat up with much effort. "egede relax, if you want off me you for Don off me since, that wan mean say you still want something abi na ajabi u need,nwanne Tusa are, pianyelum ife bu oru" "who goes this injew kwanu", a short black guy yelled angrily as he kicked my shoulder sending sharp wracking pains down my whole body "chiefoo make we off am na" The giant smiled slowly while maintaining his steady gaze on me, after staring at me for like 5mins he ordered his boys to give me back my clothes..after dressing up I was forced to swallow a tablet of God knows what, a shot of monkey tail,tied and blindfolded before being shoved into the boot of a car... I heard the car boot being slammed shut and felt the car rev off before descending into unconsciousness again |

jes coming back from a month ban... let's go there when I woke up again, the first thing I saw was a lady dressed in nurse apparels adjusting a bag of intravenous drip attached to my left hand ..the pain in my shoulder was gone and my shoulder was bandaged in turn... I kept very still until the girl left after checking my vitals then I raised myself slightly and I discovered that my left leg was chained to the base of the bed, as I made to sit up, the girl opened the door and made as if to enter the room but left when she saw that I was up..... she came back immediately with a flask, uncovered it and left wordlessly without as much as a second glance at me, well I was hungry as f**k and I plunged into the meal immediately ..... halfway through the meal, the giant walked in and sat down on a chair ,pulled out his cellphone glanced at it and pocketed it again, "make I jam nail hammer full-time , the hit una carryout bloody, and you suppose know say I looseguard your life for you for a reason if not mgba mgba for Don fall for your head but Ayaka cap say fish chop crayfish, old woman chop fish, so basically I'm offering you a deal, your life for the millions" I sat staring at him morosely then chuckled softly, pulled out the iv needle, stretched and yawned "egede na me be poison, Lucifer impregnate marine spirit come born Odin, and I be Odin's first born.. it was good to finally feel the heat of the sun over my skin and I breath in deeply relishing the smell of hot dust in awada onitsha... how I got here I can never explain, I guess they must have moved me while I was out. I had learned from snatches of conversation I eavesdropped I have been out for 11 days ...anyway matter no par,my main aim right now was how to shake off theses murderers off my back.. my brain was actually formulating a plan on how to escape if we boarded a boss but I was disappointed when a black Camry hybrid pulled in upfront and I was nudged in.... halfway through the journey just before SARS awkuzu I pulled out aBeretta 92FS from the waistband of one of the thugs sitting at my right ,placed it close to his temple and cocked, took it off safety pulled the trigger in a fraction of a second, turned and shot the other riffraff And pointed The gun at the driver... "sail bst" I ordered in a cold voice the driver fearfully obeyed and I reached out to pull a glock 19 off his waist,stuck it into my own waistband and pushed the two dead punks dripping blood and brainMatter of the car... my plans were again ruined because I had planned to hijack the ride but the two rear window were not splattered with blood and I didnt need to attract attention when we drive past SARS.. "ogbeni park" I said again coldly and the scared driver screeched to a halt by the side of the bad road... I clambered down whilst keeping my weapon trained on the driver before ordering the driver. when he came down, he was astonished when I ordered him to flag down a car but he complied when I pulled out the glock and corkedit: I kept my aim leveled at his chest for 3mins before he was able to get a Toyota Tacoma to slow down for a couple of seconds, when the driver realised the situation he was about to drive off but I was already beside the passengers side with my gun trained at a child who I guessed was his... shaking he came down pleading with me not to hurt his child, and I motioned him to take the kid, got into the Driver side and revved the engine into motion and stepped on the gas, like a man stung I marched the brake furiously causing the truck to bounce and the child to let out a scream and shot the '777' driver in the neck.. I drove off and when I was way past SARS office I looked into my rearview mirror and saw hilux trucks and men run out of SARS to my opposite direction. I chuckled and mused at their slow response to situations and silently praised my quick reflexes... "today I am finally free, yeah the snake � is finally free, time to on lay low and plot my revenge".... I resisted the temptation to race chiding myself that there would be enough time to "feel good" when I was done... 45 mins and a mild traffic later I emerged into the onitsha enugu express way and eased the car into ifite road then gunned the gas.... I headed for Amansea to the house of "amaka" a daughter of Jezebel and my secret lover.. |

when I drove into her house, I pulled in four houses away from the open space without fence that served as their compound and headed for the backyard after carefully hiding the car with thicket and leaves. when I bent down to collect the key from the hole she hides It in I felt the feel of a gun behind my head and heard the hammer being pulled back . "sugar boo" I muttered quietly and heard her gasp before the gun was pulled off my head and a slap burned the left side of my cheek... |
