Launched in November 2017 the Razer Phones gives you a feel of cutting edge gaming device, with high end gaming specs tweaked under its hood. Design
The body build packs quite some bezels at the top and bottom which houses the front facing camera. Rocking a full metallic build which doubles as a heat sink that absorbs excessive heat been generated by the CPU the Razer Phone is quite classic in its black color with the Razer Logo printed at the back. It measures 158.50 x 77.70 x 8.00 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 197.00 grams.



Display
The phone rocks a 5.70-inch Ultra motion touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels. Its the first smartphone ever to run a fluid display clocked at 120Hz which translates into smoother gaming experience and performance for gamer’s alike.



The Razer Phone is capable of displaying noticeably smoother with more fluid visuals when moving objects are shown on the screen, much like what you see on high end gaming P.C and gaming consoles. A typical 60Hz display cannot effectively display over 60 frames per second due to its refresh rate limitation. The Razer Phone, however, can display up to 120 frames per second thanks to its higher refresh rate.

Camera
At the rear of the Razer Phone you will find a 12+12 Mega Pixel dual camera, capable of shooting crisp sharp image. One offers a f/1.75 wide angle, and the other offers a f/2.6 zoom lens. It offers phase-detection auto-focus, and a dual-tone dual-LED flash. The front camera is an 8 MP f/2.0 camera. While at the front you will find an 8 Mega Pixel Selfie Shooter for selfie lovers.

Hardware and SoC
Performance wise the Razor Phone is a beast in the making as it was designed specifically for hardcore gaming. Coming in with a Snapdragon 835 CPU paired with 8 GB worth of RAM you will get a good value from this device. Its CPU is clocked into quad processing unit from its octa core to handle high performance, and heavy usage.

It comes with an Inbulit memory of 64 GB which could be expanded to 2TB via micro sd card slot with a RAM of 8 GB for heavy gaming and multi tasking, with only few games supported for now to use its 120Hz processing display.

Games that will run at up to 120FPS on the Razer Phone include Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition, Gear.Club, Lineage 2: Revolution, Runescape and Old School RuneScape, Shadowgun Legends, Tekken, Titanfall: Assault, and World of Tanks Blitz, as well as the upcoming Arena of Valor.

Other Features
The Razer Phone is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepts a Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Barometer. The Razer Phone is powered by a 4000mAh non removable battery and boots android 7.1 Nougat straight out of the box.

Pricing and Availability
The Razer Phone is not yet available in Nigeria, Uk, USA, Ghana, India, and Kenya as of yet. The Razer phone which is only available in one color (Black) would sell for $699 in the USA and UK, While in Nigeria its is expected to go for 240,000 – 280,000 NGN, While in India it should go for 45228.24 Indian Rupees. In Ghana it should go for 3084.34 GHc, While it should start at 72486.30 Ksh in Kenya.
