A fast growing courier and logistics company with Head Office in Lagos is seeking the services of an Assistant Sales Manager for immediate employment.

Job Responsibilities:

The Assistant Sales Manager will manage subordinate staffs in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

The ASM will ensure will be responsible for managing and directing a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals generating high profile leads, identifying, negotiating and closing potential business deals with effective pricing.

Recognize the needs of the clients and provides detailed information to them about the technical specifications of proposals offered by the company.

Maintain up-to-date professional and technical knowledge on current and future business deals and industry trends as it pertains to logistics and courier business.

Help clients maximize the use of the company's daily services as a two-way goal.

Offer necessary product knowledge and technical expertise translating into successful sales.

Publish go-to-market strategy by setting up product positioning, target customers and end user-clients.

Update the Sales Manager/HOD (Head Of Department) on new and possible means of clients' satisfaction.

Coordinate with the Head Office to develop selling tools for presentations, demos and trade shows.

Uncover potential clients’ needs to sell solutions.

Assist sales through calls and web based presentations to maintain service positioning and strategies.

Handle in-depth knowledge of clients' products, competitors and market conditions.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
B.Sc/HND in Marketing, Purchasing, Business Admin, Social Science degree.


Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Proven experience in developing and delivering sales training

Experience in sales territory management

Have excellent negotiation and communication skills (listening, influencing, persuading)

Fluent in English (other languages will be an advantage)

Outstanding organizational skills

Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality in daily operation

Competent and confident, ability to maintain effectiveness

Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability

Good team player.
