Bounce News Nigeria has emerged Winner of the last #AppsAfrica Awards of 2017 for News and Entertainment.

The AppsAfrica award honours innovation in the tech ecosystem across Africa and it is supported by Mobile Monday South Africa and Mobile Ecosystem Forum (MEF).

The award was received by Bounce News Nigeria's Head of Marketing, Modupe Ogunyemi and Traffic Acquisition Manager, Tunde Ajetomobi.

In their short acceptance speech, they thanked the organizers for recognizing Bounce News Apps' excellence in delivering personalized news to its users within Nigeria and across the world.

They also pledge to maintain the higher standards set in producing original content while adapting the App to suit individual user preferences.

The Event, which held in Cape Town, South Africa provided nominees and winners with global publicity, recognition and networking with over 300 leaders in Africa’s tech ecosystem.

Other nominees for the Best News and entertainment award are: Jokko Text (Senegal), Vodacom Music (South Africa), Vodacom Games (South Africa) and Sportsie (Nigeria).

Unlike regular news apps, the Bounce News App is transforming the experience of consuming news online by stream lining the clutter of excess information.
