Average monthly take home for graduate entry level: 80-120k pre confirmation. 180-250 after confirmation, Trainee Banking Officer level.

Average monthly take home for Staff in Outsourced Function: 45-80k

Note this is AVERAGE means it could be slightly higher or slightly lower depending on bank

Baba, abeg which one be pre-confirmation??

It Depends on your employment status, contract staff or full staff. Contract Staffs dont earn more than 75K in most banks and mind you, thats all the earn from the banks as there is no other form of allowances attached to their employment agreement, But full staff earns depends on what you bargained on your point of employment and level ure and allowances.

Note: Dont mind the flashy lives of bankers thinking maybe is cos the earn higher, left for bankers they wont be dressing like that but their work demands the dress like that to cover up the suffering they are subjected to. so if you want to look for banking job, pls kindly agree within urself that am willing to take up this job and not minding what comes with it. Mind u, if ure a contract staff, dont take it that ure employed cos when you have worked years which should permit ur conversion, banks always lay dem off to make room for fresh novice ones to come and be jumping up that they have gotten a job. And when ure sacked as a contract staff, depending on bank, i dont think their payoff is more dan 100k no mata how many years you have worked.

Rest my case

Diamond bank 80k plus 12k transport allowance while in training school.
Afterwards Entry levek 214k... rent allowance paid in January, medical allowance, leave allowance, off the shelf medical paid in December, etc.

First bank is a little lower but with more allowances which makes the total package more.

Most banks now engage contract staff to cut down cost. The max paid as salary to them is 70K.....to bad. Sack Bank staff to engage contract staff .

I heard the same too. Access pays well too and they pay bonuses a lot. Banks generally pay well but you work every single drop of blood and sweat in your body. Sometimes u are at work on Saturdays and Sundays. Most people in banks are looking for a way out. No peace of mind.

It's a period of usually 6 months from the time of entry, during which the employee is on probation and his performances on the job are monitored by management. During this period he's not entitled to.some perks like annual leave or applying for staff loan etc. If his performances are satisfactory after the 6 months he's then offered a permanent employment letter and can then be given full staff privileges including access to sensitive items, promotion, and supervisory roles.

Some persons just type in a figure and its assumed thats is the pay.

A graduate trainee's pay is different from several postitions pay, like Executive trainer, Executive assistant, Senior Banking Officer, Banking Officer, Assistant Manager(thiese are all grades in the bank).

Their is a structure for all bank and their pays differ.
If its very important, I can give you all their pays and leave allowances for each grade as well as same for outsourced staff, for Wema Bank, First Bank, and GT Banks which are places I have worked.

There are much i can give u or say about banks and work conditions which I cannot spill here on this forum.

Thanks.
