This are the photo of the promised 34.7km mbiabet ikpe rice farm road abondon by Governor Udom Emmanuel in INI local government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
Seriously udom is playing politics with akwa ibom people, he came to INI local government Last year and promise to construct this road and to set up rice mill in the area but up till now nothing has been done. The road has been abandon since with contractors complainting that udom has not release any fund for the project.
This is very disheartening to INI people.
The road connects five communities which includes: odoro ikpe, ibam edet, Ndot ikpe, Akpayak and Mbiabet ikpe where the rice farm is located.
The road if constructed will be motorable and the ricefarm if revitalize will create jobs for the youth. We now call on Governor Udom to be a promise keeper by constructing and revitalizing ini rice farm.
